Cambridge & District Humane Society
The Cambridge and District Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and providing shelter and comfort to the needy animals of the Cambridge and District community in Ontario, Canada. The Society is totally supported by the generosity of the community it serves. The Society depends on volunteers to assist in fulfilling its mandate.
The Cambridge and District Humane Society cares for homeless animals in need of temporary shelter. It looks for suitable new homes and provides education to the community on how to care for the newly adopted pet. The Society also responds to and investigates allegations of cruelty to and neglect of animals.
