Poohka's Rabbit Rescue
Poohka's Rabbit Rescue was named after a large, white rabbit named Poohka (from the movie Harvey). He too was an unwanted rabbit that was only with us a short while, he now waits for friends and family at Rainbow Bridge. It was felt that the rescue should be named after him in his memory. Our goal is to find other rabbits like Poohka, permanent loving, caring homes as well as to educate the public on rabbits as pets in hopes that less rabbits will end up like Poohka or in worse scenarios. Poohka's Rabbit Rescue was Incorporated on December 8, 2004. We are still working on obtaining our charity status.
