Estonian Academic Society for Animal Welfare

The purposes of EASAW include:

the raising of ethical standards through education,
the actual improvement of animal welfare and support of local animal protection activity,
the advancement of legislation and regulations regarding animal welfare,
the re-establishment of the positive role and image of veterinarians to implement and enforce animal welfare principles,
the change of animal experimentation in education with alternative methods.
