Cretan Animal Welfare Group
CAWG has a small shelter for only the sick and injured animals. Projects run are the Cat Cafe scheme, the yearly Donkey Care project and soon the Subsidised Neutering of owned dogs. There is also a subcommitte within CAWG named Chrysalis which deals only with Campaigning/Lobbying and Humane Education on issues such as Circuses, exotic pets, fur and battery hens.
