Tipperary Friends of Animals S.P.C.A.

Tipperary Friends of Animals S.P.C.A. run a rescue and re-homing service for unwanted stray cats and dogs, horses, goats and we also deal with the odd bit of wildlife.

The main aim of our group is the prevention of cruelty to animals, promote animal welfare and relieve the suffering of animals and the rescue and re-homing of Stray unwanted domestic animals. We provide extra services such as rehabilitation, much needed veterinary treatment and round the clock care for the many of needy animals that find themselves in our Rescue.

Subsidised Neutering vouchers (for the less well off) as we strongly believe that is the only way to reduce the suffering of unwanted animals is to prevent the production of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies.

And like so many rescues groups, we help by putting the animals needs before our own. The unwanted dogs and cats rely on us the voluntary workers to keep it afloat. Our volunteers come from all walks of life with one common interest "A compassion and a love for animals".

We also deal with calls from the public about cruelty to animals and now have two animal welfare officers in North & South Tipperary.
