ENPA Section Forli-Cesena. ENPA, the Italian national board for the animal protection, is the main and the oldest protective association in Italy. Our cat shelter in Cesena relies completely on volunteers and donations made by the inhabitants of Cesena. The shelter is housed in the ruins of an old slaughterhouse (!) and the walls and ceilings are crumbling down and there is no heating. Each year about 700 cats pass through our shelter. We follow the Trap Neuter Return policy but we desperately need a new shelter as we are forced to move out of the current one by our local community.
