The purpose of this society is the prevention of cruelty of animals, the relief of suffering among animals, placement of animals in responsible homes, and the extension of humane education.
Established to serve animals in south Sebastian County, Arkansas.
The small (16 kennels) shelter is city-owned and operated with assistance from the local humane society; we have facilities only for dogs. We arrange as many adoptions as possible but many dogs are euthanized due to overcrowding.
