The GSPCA Western Rescue is organized by a small group of volunteers who are willing to extend their love for their breed and their own personal dogs to those in need. They have opened their hearts and homes to German Shorthaired Pointers who have become homeless. These dogs may come from shelters and pounds, from which they must rescued, given health care, reconditioned or trained and placed. In the event the dog may be lost, every possible effort is made to unite it with its owner. Sometimes the unwanted dog may also come directly from a home where due to circumstances it can no longer stay. We will then help the family in finding an appropriate new home.
