Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter
The Hermitage is the only no-kill, no cage cat shelter facility in Tucson. We occupy a converted house with 4000 square feet of indoor area and 4000 square feet of outdoor area, all divided into several areas, depending on the cats' age and special needs. Our mission is to: 1) provide shelter for the most needy cats; 2) adopt out as many cats as possible to optimal permanent homes; and 3) educate the public in all aspects of responsible companion animal ownership.
