Great curb appeal, community rooms for cats, get acquainted yards for dogs, separate quarters for bunnies, a medical suite for special animal care, and for the humans, a community conference space, a pleasant atmosphere, and plenty of parking. The new West Los Angeles Animal Care Center on Pico Boulevard was first occupied by four-legged residents on November 5, 2007, leaving behind the cramped kennels and cages of the former shelter on the corner of Missouri and Bundy.
