Found in 1991, TLC has placed over 3800 homeless animals in permanent, loving homes. Our priority is street rescue. Abandoned cats- often mothers with small kittens left to fend for themselves-are sad victims of today's throwaway society. Every day TLC receives injured, sick or starving animals. Whenever possible, volunteers house these rescues until adopted. Medical attention, baths, vaccinations, and spay/neutering are done. Abscesses are healed, broken bones mended, infections treated. Each rescue receives food and warmth-and lots of tender loving care-to transform it from a scraggly orphan to a loving, healthy pet.
