SPCA-LA
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal/Los Angeles was founded in 1877 and is the first organization to promote animal welfare in southern California. Originally chartered to end he abuse of horses used during the "buggy" days, the organization expanded to include child and pet abuse cases. Today the SPCA/LA is dedicated to the welfare of all animals and offers many services and programs which affect animals in California.Address
