Pet Adoption League
The Pet Adoption League is a nonprofit, all-volunteer animal welfare organization dedicated to helping animals through adoption; FREE spay/neuter for residents of Nevada County, CA; humane education; dog obedience rebate for people who can't afford the cost of basic training; free cat and dog food for people who are temporarily strapped for cash or feed colonies of spay/neutered feral cats or seniors who can't afford to buy it; dog/cat houses for people who can't afford them or want to put them in a feral cat colony; TNR as well as daily feedings and shelter; help with travel to the vet for those who don't drive; free advice for behavior problems/questions; free quarterly newsletter; and much more!
