Pets are Wonderful Support
PAWS - North County was organized in 1993 to assist persons living with HIV/AIDS in North San Diego County keep their companion animals by helping them with a variety of services. On February 27, 1998, the new Board of Directors decided that the program needed to be broadened to include others. Almost anyone can apply for assistance with the maintenance and care of their beloved pet. Most of these services are Free to the client and others are prorated by income eligibility.
