Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California (BHRSC) takes in homeless and neglected basset hounds, has them spayed or neutered, and provides appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations. They are then placed in foster homes (or boarded, if no foster homes are available). We seek loving homes where they will spend their remaining years cuddling, eating, drooling, resting, playing, and socializing with people and other family pets. The basic premise of rescue is spay and neuter.
