Los Angeles Animal Services - West Valley
West Valley has just come through a major expansion project, more than doubling the size of the facilities to 50,000 square feet. With a large cat population in the West Valley, the new Care Center features multiple cat rooms and special cat play areas, in addition to increasing the number of cages by 68. The dog kennels have an outdoor feel, but dogs will have access to enclosed air-conditioned spaces because of the extreme heat of the West Valley in summer.
