NorthEastern Connecticut Animal Rescue
Northeastern Connecticut Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit association of volunteers who work to help animals and the people who care about them. NECTAR was formally organized in 1983, although several members of the group had been doing animal welfare work individually for some time before. Our membership is growing; at the moment we have a core group of about a dozen regular workers plus several others who aid us in special projects. We have received non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service and all donations to NECTAR are tax deductible.
