Von Monte-Haus Working Dog Rescue & Placement Services
Von Monte-Haus is a rescue for overly active German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and Labradors, who need more than a typical "Pet" home. These dogs are taken into Foster, Vetted, evaluated, and started in training for Patrol, Narcotics etection, and Search & Rescue. We have several dogs protecting YOUR streets and keeping your family safe. Our first Working Dog Placement "K-9 Sirius", a rescued German Shepherd now working with the CT State Police was awarded for his efforts in the search of victims at the World Trade Center. Many of our other dogs have been awarded for several things such as the "Life Saving Award" by the State of CT.
