Atlanta Humane Society
The Atlanta Humane Society (AHS) is the largest full-service animal shelter in Georgia providing animal care and adoption services to a metropolitan area encompassing several counties. In addition to the animal shelter, AHS operates a charitable animal hospital that is open to all with low-cost veterinary services offered to individuals of modest income. Also, AHS manages Fulton County Animal Control under contract with local government.
