RescueCats, Inc. is a nonprofit, no-kill organization, providing temporary care for orphaned and owner released kittens and cats. Foster care, including shelter, food/water, love, and necessary medical care is given to each animal until it can be adopted into a suitable home. Cats are tested for FeLV/FIV (Feline Leukemia & Feline Aids), dewormed, vaccinated for RCPC (distemper combo), treated for fleas, ear mites, and anything else that might be necessary prior to adoption. The animals are also spayed or neutered to stop the cycle of overpopulation and to improve the overall health of the cat or kitten.
