Dog Pack Rescue was started several years ago when we moved to the country from the city. We started noticing that random people would abandon their animals on a long logging road near our house. We were also volunteering at our local animal control facility and we were horrified at the number of pure bred and excellent family pets that were being euthanized. We knew that if we were dedicated, our hearts were in it, and we gave it time to grow, we could build a no-kill dog sanctuary, educate the community, and lower the euthaniasia rates in our counties.
