Charles Smithgall Humane Society
The mission of the Charles Smithgall Humane Society is to shelter and find safe homes for unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused animals; to reduce pet overpopulation, cruelty and neglect; to teach and encourage responsible pet ownership; and to advocate animal welfare.
We are a no-kill humane society, meaning we don't euthanize animals for space. We try to get pets adopted through the adoption center, offsite adoption booths, listings on our website. We also foster animals, so we can keep space for new animals brought in by owner release or abandonment.
