The Kootenai Humane Society is a non-profit animal shelter that relies on donations to feed and house the over 6,000 animals that come through our door every year. Through increased animal adoptions, spay and neuter, and vital programs such as Foster Care, Share a Little Love, and Hearts of Gold, the Kootenai Humane Society is fulfilling its mission to find a loving home for every adoptable abandoned animal in Kootenai County.
