Animals Requesting Friends Benevolent Society
Animals Requesting Friends Benevolent Society (ARF) is an all volunteer, not for profit, 501(c)3 animal welfare organization serving needy pets of Wayne County since September 28, 2000. We believe PREVENTION IS KINDER AND WISER THAN DESTRUCTION therefore we actively promote spay/neuter, issue spay/neuter vouchers, teach responsible pet guardianship and humane education, implement kind programs such as "Put a Roof Over Your Woof" providing dog and cat houses/straw at no cost, "Takin' It To The Streets" donating food, treats and other pet supplies to the less fortunate pets in our county and most importantly we advocate for animals in need through caring volunteers and by having an Illinois Approved Humane Investigator actively volunteering for our organization.
