The Home For Friendless Animals is a not-for-profit no-kill shelter and adoption facility providing a loving refuge for stray and abandoned dogs and cats. The Home For Friendless Animals was incorporated in 1943. It was located on US 40, west of Bridgeport, Indiana. In May 1960 HFA moved to the banks of the White River in Noblesville, Indiana. During the fall of 2002, HFA relocated to a 73 acre farm in Montgomery County south of Waynetown,IN. The Home For Friendless Animals is a lot of work, laughter and tears. It's also a wonderfully rewarding place for those of us fortunate enough to be part of it. The dogs and cats we care for are our reason for being here and the inspiration for all that we do.
