Dearborn County Friends of Animals
We are a foster network, taking dogs from bad situations or shelters, and vetting, grooming, and spaying or neutering them, and then keeping them in our homes, as members of our family, until we feel that they are ready for a new home, and then finding the best home for them. Our educational mission buys a subscription to the animal-friendly magazine "Kind News" for every third and fourth grader in Dearborn and Ohio counties, plus the teachers of these grades get the supplement to that magazine that outlines games, projects, and activities that teach respect and kindness for animals.
