Second Chance Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization that was started on March 1, 2001. Stray dogs picked up by the city police are given a second chance at having a good home instead of being destroyed. All dogs taken in are wormed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and put on heartworm preventative. If other medical attention is required, we take care of that also. To date, we have helped give over 100 dogs a second chance at a happy, healthier life.
