Our nonprofit group is licensed by the state as an animal shelter, but we do not operate an animal sheltering facility. Instead, we recruit foster caregivers who take companion animals into their private homes until permanent homes are found. Mostly cats; spay/neuter; trap/neuter/release for ferals; animal behavior; bereavement; living with wildlife; animal law.
