Humane Society of North Central Iowa
The Humane Society of North Central Iowa, dba "Almost Home" provides transitional care for abandoned companion animals until forever homes can be found for them. Almost Home is a limited intake shelter; no animals are euthanized for expedience sake. A new facility will be under construction in 2009 which will provide care for 98 dogs and 156 cats per day, more than doubling our current capacity.Address
