K-9 Hope
K-9 Hope was created after witnessing the effects that hurricane Katrina had on the pets and the people who love them. We decided that we needed to do something to help with the overloaded and overworked system in the local area. We provide love and care for the animals that are rescued by finding foster families in our area of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. Our mission is to care for these animals until their owner is ready to have them back in their life. That is why we named our organization K-9 Hope. We wanted to give people hope that they will eventually be reunited with their fur-kids, and know that while they cannot be with them, they will have a comfortable, loving home away from home.
