People for Animal Welfare
The Humane Society of NE Iowa is a small non-profit organization located in Northeast Iowa. We are dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in our surrounding area. We currently offer a service to those in need of placing their pet. Because we are not a shelter and are limited on our foster homes, we cannot take in dogs or cats that are currently in a home . It is important to keep our foster homes available for the abandoned and unclaimed dogs that are in need of a safe and loving temporary home. Our goal is to establish a larger foster network to ease up on our current fosterers and continue to help the misfortunate dogs and cats in Northeast Iowa. On a bigger scale, our goal is to build an animal shelter and educate our surrounding communities on the importance of spaying and neutering your pet.
