Our shelter houses approximately 100 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens at any given time. We currently have only two cages for cats so we cannot accept many. We also have a very small budget since we're county-funded, and all donations are greatly appreciated. A local group named LIFE was created to work with the shelter. The non-profit organization raises money to pay for spay or neuter operations for all animals adopted through the shelter. This should help reduce the population in the coming years. In the meantime we're working hard to get as many animals adopted as possible.
