Animal Orphanage
Founded in 1990, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and placement of stray animals in the greater Old Town/Orono area. Operational costs are managed by memberships, donations, fundraising activities and in part by town funding. Due to the increasing numbers of stray cats and dogs within our communities, we are outgrowing our current location. We are in the process of raising funds to construct a larger facility.
