Baltimore County Animal Shelter
The BaltimoreCounty Animal Shelter is the only animal shelter in Baltimore County that is authorized to accept lost pets. As an open admission shelter, no animal is ever turned away. The Animal Shelter and Animal Control are a Division of the Baltimore County Department of Health. Sadly, many of the lost and runaway dogs and cats arriving at our shelter are not wearing any identification. The Animal Shelter urges pet owners to protect their pets with annual license tags. Consider micro-chipping as an additional form of identification. It is equally important that pet owners have all of their pets spayed or neutered. Call for a low-cost spay/neuter referral.
