Fur the Love of Paws, Inc.
We are a not for profit, non-euthanizing, up and coming cat (and eventually, dog) shelter/sanctuary in the process of becoming functional. The three founders who started our organization have a combined 35 years of animal rescue experience. As fate would have it, we all ended up working with the same group, and as time went by, we learned that there are many more animals in desperate need of homes than the already overcrowded shelters can handle. As a consequence, thousands of animals are euthanized each year in Maryland alone, simply due to lack of space in shelters. So we decided to volunteer our time and start our own rescue organization, not only for the extreme need, but for our unconditional love of animals.
