Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue
Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue (MABCR), formerly known as Kent County Border Collie Rescue (KCBCR) is a not-for-profit organization that is run by volunteers. We currently serve the following states; Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virgina plus the District of Columbia. Fundamentally, Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue is a haven for Border Collies and dogs of the Herding group that have been discarded, neglected, abandoned or stray. Many of these dogs are turned into animal shelters because their previous owners discovered they were not border collie material or because changes in their lives left them unable to care properly for their dogs.
