Adopt-A-Pet of Western Michigan
Non-profit no-kill companion pet rescue program. We also do ferret rescues and adoptions. Started in 1983. Operated by volunteers only. Entirely funded by private donations. Place 2,000 pets per year. Potential Adopters are screened, and donations are required. Michigan law requires we have a spay/neuter contract and collect a refundable deposit to be refunded when this has been accomplished on the date specified by both parties. An adoption agreement will also be in force, with the clause that if there is a problem pet it must be returned to Adopt a Pet. We also ship pets all over the U.S.
