Pope County Humane Society
Formed in 1985, the Pope County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is a member of the state federation. The purpose of our society is to prevent the cruelty to animals, provide for the welfare of animals and promote public education regarding the care of animals. PCHS relies on our part-time employees and volunteers who donate their time and money to the organization. Our animal shelter cares for the lost, abandoned and stray animals of Pope County.
