Laurie & Tims Home for Unwanted Turtles
We are a rescue and sanctuary that specializes in turtles and tortoises. We take in both unwanted pets and injured wildlife, and coordinate adoptions for suitable animals. We also work with various state conservation departments on repopulation projects for endangered species. We work with schools and civic groups, giving presentations on proper care and special needs of pet turtles and tortoises, as well as being responsible with the surrounding environment to ensure the future of these spectacular creatures.
