Humane Society of Park County
Our shelter was opened in Feb 1999. We are a non-profit, private funded organization who rely on donations and grants to keep our doors open. The Stafford Animal Shelter is a wonderful facility that has approximately 1,000 animals come through our doors every year. We have an open door policy, so we never turn an animal away.We ask for a surrender fee and require one for out of county. The Stafford Animal Shelter also prides itself on our behavior department and encourage folks to contact us with any questions, whether it is an animal that came from us or not.
