Lyon County Animal Shelter
We handle the animal control responsibilities for the unincorporated areas of Lyon County Nevada. Lyon is a rural county with a growing population. We are open six days a week. Our office hours are 7am to 3:00pm Monday-Friday. Our Kennel/Adoption hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Saturday is ADOPTION DAY KENNEL IS OPEN FROM 8-12 CLOSED EVERY SUNDAY On Saturday our Volunteers are here from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. Many times they do not answer the phone because they are out in the kennel with the dogs. Please stop in and a Volunteer will be happy to show you our adoptable dogs.
