Stray from the Heart (SFTH) is an animal rescue group whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and place homeless dogs with loving new families. SFTH is a network of volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate, socialize and train each dog before a permanent home is found for them. It also provides critical follow-up support to anyone who adopts a dog. Although basedin Manhattan, SFTH is not a shelter it relies on dedicated group of foster parents who socialize and care for the dogs before they are placed in a permanent home.
