Animal Lovers League
The Animal Lovers Shelter is the only privatized municipal shelter in Nassau County and was founded and is still run by volunteers. We are dedicated to placing all adoptable animals and work very hard to reduce stress and make our shelter residents happy and comfortable while they await adoption. Behavior modification and training programs provide these pets with a new chance at finding a loving home for life.
