Greene Animal Welfare Alliance
Our organization provides a spay/neuter assistance program that is available to all pet owners in our area. Our goal is to reduce the number of unwanted animals that end up in the shelter or left to fend for themselves. We also provide a humane education program in local schools to discuss what a pet needs to stay healthy and happy. Classrooms receive monthly issues of Kind News which is sponsored by us. Our organization is funded solely by donations and numerous fund raising activities. All of our members are volunteers. We do not have a shelter. However, we do network with a number of people that do rescue work and of course we refer many people to our local shelter.
