Ten Lives Club is a registered non-profit organization located in Western New York that is made up of volunteers and staff all devoted to the club's mission, "to promote, further and enhance all cat life". We rely on donations to help us feed, medicate, and house over 225 (including our cats in foster care) cats in our program. Ten Lives Club began in January 2001 with a dream to be able to save as many cats as possible, and we are proud to say that 8000 cats have been adopted or helped through TLC! That means 8000 cats were saved, kept alive, and adopted into new homes thanks to Ten Lives Club. Ten Lives takes in cats from two local non-profit rescue groups, assists the SPCA and City Shelter with surrendered cats, and has taken in cats from Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, W. Virginia, Ohio, and outside WNY shelters.
All cats matter to us no matter if a stray, a personal pet, a feral (wild cat) or a sick cat. Once a cat is surrendered to our group a thorough evaluation is done by one of our affiliated vets and all the necessary testing and shots are given. Most importantly, they are spayed and neutered. TLC believes strongly that the answer to the serious pet over-population problem is to spay and neuter!
