Stark County Pound
Stark county pound offers dogs and puppies for adoption for short periods of time before they must euthanize. They must euthanize due to the number of animals surrendered to them and insufficient resources. Stark county pound does NOT have cats and/or kittens available for adoption. Fee for adoption of a dog or puppy is $59; $35 dollars is refunded to new owner upon sterilization of their new friend. So, the actual adoption fee is only $24. If you are considering adopting from this shelter, do follow through with the sterilization (spaying or neutering) of your new pet so your pet will not contribute to the over-population causing the euthanasia of many innocent animals every day!!!!! If you are not prepared to spay or neuter your pet, you are not ready to be a responsible pet owner and should not consider adopting at this time.
