The Animal Rescue Fund ( ARF) is an incorporated, voluntary,non-profit charitable organization [it is a 501 (C)(3) organiztions], chartered in February 1980, under the laws of the state of Ohio. ARF has an adoption program, providing care for stray dogs and cats, placing them in new homes. People also call us when they are no longer able to keep thier pets and must relocate them in a new home. We call our shelter "The Farm", a haven for the homeless located on 17 acres in Amelia. We are in constant need of expansion, upkeep and care for our dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. The Farm is also home for horses, goats, llamas, deer, chickens, and ducks. Our operation has full time staff members and volunteers and is modernized to help insure the health, safety, and happiness of all our animals. In addition, ARF actively participates in community outreach and events with the intent to educate the public about the homeless animal epidemic locally and nationally and the solution of spaying and neutering pets. We are also here to provide help and support to foster families in addition to emergency situations.
