Union County Humane Society
Each year the Union County Humane Society serves over 1,300 lost, stray or abandoned domestic animals from Union County, OH. Each year we are also successful in placing 85%-90% of the animals that we care for through a coordinated effort consisting of public outreach, foster families, rescue groups, and other dedicated animal lovers who assist us. The UCHS utilizes the ASPCA's Meet Your Match Canine-ality Assessment to help match the right family to the right dog, greatly reducing the number of animals that come back to us, and greatly increasing the experience our clients and furry guests.
