Lincoln County Animal Shelter
Approximately 1,000 animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, mice, and the occasional iguana come through the shelter each year. We immediately accept all sick, injured and abandoned animals and dogs running at large. We are also able to rehome surrendered animals. Thousands of other animals receive help through licensing, the food bank program, lost and found efforts, and humane education. The Animal Shelter staff work hand-in-hand with over 100 volunteers and the Animal Services Deputies to protect animal welfare and public safety.

Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm with appointments available on Monday and weekday mornings for special services and redemptions. We are closed on major holidays.
