PA Shih Tzu Rescue
PA SHIH TZU RESCUE was created to complement our nationwide Shih Tzu Rescue group. Although we are located in PA our group has members throughout many states.
We are dedicated volunteers working to help displaced pets through fostering and adoption. We get dogs from a variety of situations including shelters, owner turn-ins and strays. We foster dogs in our home and therefore usually only have one or two dogs at a time. In this way we can give each one the TLC they need as they adjust to a new life through no fault of their own. After a thorough screening process which includes a home visit we place each dog in the home that we feel best matches their needs. Since we do a home visit, adoptions are limited to about an hour's drive from here. We DO NOT do long distance adoptions.
